Honest about how this works
DRIVO is an introduction service. We connect you with renters — we do not insure the rental or hold money for it. Here is exactly what that means.
You arrange payment and deposit
The rental payment and any deposit are agreed and handled directly between you and the renter. DRIVO does not process the payment or hold the deposit for these listings.
Insurance stays with you
You confirm you hold insurance that permits renting out your vehicle. We ask every host to attest to this before a listing goes live — it protects you and the renter.
Renters are real people, not anonymous
Inquiries come from registered DRIVO users so you can talk, ask questions and decide who you are comfortable renting to before you commit to anything.
Before your listing publishes, you confirm you carry valid insurance that permits renting out the vehicle. No invented cover, no hidden guarantees — just an honest introduction.
Host questions
How much does it cost to list?+
It is a one-time listing fee: €49 for 30 days, €65 for 60 days, or €75 for 90 days. During our launch the fee is waived, so you can list for free. There is no subscription and DRIVO never takes a commission on your rental income.
Does DRIVO take a cut of what I earn?+
No. Unlike a marketplace that charges per booking, DRIVO only charges the one-time listing fee. Whatever you agree with the renter is yours to keep — we do not take a percentage.
Who handles the payment and deposit?+
You do, directly with the renter. DRIVO is an introduction service: we put your motorhome in front of travellers and pass on their inquiries. The rental agreement, payment, deposit and insurance are arranged between you and the renter.
What about insurance?+
You are responsible for holding insurance that permits renting out your vehicle, and you confirm this when you publish. DRIVO does not provide rental insurance for these listings — be sure your policy covers it before you list.
Can I list a caravan or campervan too?+
Yes. Motorhomes and campervans are drivable; caravans are towable. You can list any of the three, with the layout, berths and amenities that matter to renters.
What happens when my listing window ends?+
Your listing simply stops being shown when the window expires. You can renew or upgrade to a longer window from your host dashboard whenever you want to keep going.
